About Me

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet. I appreciate the time you’re spending looking around my unkept blog.

I am a mature, loyal and hard-working 16-year-old that is passionate about news and current affairs, digital media, politics, education and the exciting future of journalism.  I am an independent person who is always learning. Nothing excites me more than the thrill and challenge of learning something new, and putting it into practice.

As I venture into the fast moving, complex and ever-changing world of modern journalism, I am looking to find a unique voice to present the facts and the sometimes uncomfortable truth. I am fascinated by where journalism will go in the near future, and what that means for the public, just as what it means for journalism.

I recently wrote for The Sydney Morning Herald when I travelled to Gallipoli in April 2015 as part of the NSW Government’s Gallipoli Schools Tour. You can check out my pieces here and here.

I previously edited and reported for The Global Panorama – a student-run news website focussing on world news. I also ran part of the website’s Twitter presence, tweeting from multiple accounts 24/7.

If you’d like to get in contact, you can tweet me or see other ways to connect here.
